Anasa is a local-first Markdown notes app for macOS, Windows and Linux. The app itself is free to
download and use with your own AI provider key. Two things are paid, and they are independent of
each other: a one-time license, and Anasa Cloud (a subscription for hosted sync and monthly AI
credits).

Price: **€0**. No account, no sign-up, no trial period.

- Every editor, theme and energy mode in the app.
- AI features work by pointing Anasa at your own provider key (OpenAI-compatible endpoints, Azure
  OpenAI, Ollama for fully local models, Apple Intelligence on supported macOS hardware). You are
  billed by that provider, not by us.
- Unlimited devices.
- Notes stay on your disk as plain `.md` files; the app is fully offline-capable.

Every plan includes hosted capture sync and end-to-end encrypted vault sync, plus each Cloud
feature added to that tier later.

- **Credit refresh:** the monthly allowance refreshes on fixed 30-day periods, not calendar months.
- **Rollover:** unused plan credits roll over up to 3x the monthly grant, then stop accruing.
- **Spend order:** plan credits are spent before purchased credits.
- **Entitlement:** a paid order grants 35 days (monthly) or 370 days (yearly) of access, grace included, so a late renewal never interrupts service.
- **Sync quota** bounds data *in flight*. Captures are deleted from the server as soon as your
  desktop imports them; the quota is not a storage plan.

## AI credit costs

Credits are consumed only by Anasa's managed AI. Using your own provider key consumes none.

Semantic search, embedding requests, task extraction and content generation cost nothing.

of licenses plus the Cloud plan tier, if any.
