A writing and thinking app that does not own the notes
Anasa (ανάσα) means “breath” in Greek. It is a desktop workspace for writing, connected notes, and personal planning. The source material remains Markdown files on your computer.
Local by default
The app opens a folder on your computer and works offline. Cloud features are separate and optional.
The Energy System
Five interface-density levels let you keep the full workspace visible or reduce it to the current document.
AI is a choice
Use a local model, your own provider, managed credits, or no AI. Each route has different privacy and cost boundaries.
Anasa adds backlinks, a knowledge graph, search, tasks, boards, calendar views, backups, Git support, and optional encrypted Cloud sync around the same folder of notes. It is built for individual desktop work, not real-time team editing or a hosted company wiki.
Anasa is built by Entro314 Labs. Questions, accessibility feedback, or support requests can go to hey@anasa.md.
