Backup is for recovery
Anasa includes revision history, Recently Deleted, and scheduled snapshots. These help you recover from an accidental edit or deletion. Keep an independent backup of any work you cannot afford to lose.
Sync is for moving changes
Because the vault is a normal folder, you can use Git or a file-sync service that works correctly with local folders. Anasa also provides optional Cloud vault sync for paid Cloud plans.
Cloud vault sync encrypts file contents and paths on your device with a passphrase Anasa does not receive. The service can still see operational metadata such as file counts, encrypted object sizes, change times, and device identifiers. Losing the passphrase means we cannot recover the encrypted contents.
